Michel Bohbot
Michel Bohbot, a nationally recognized artist, has been creating successful illustrations for 15 years. He combines digital media with traditional rendering to provide his clients with imaginative visual solutions. His clients include: LucasArts, Warner Books, Vivendi-Universal, Michael Crichton, Activision, Jowood, Nintendo, Wiley & Sons, and Penguin-Putnam Books. He has won several awards and was featured in "Spectrum, The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art" numbers 6, 7, and 10.
Although he was born in California, Michel spent most of his youth in Marseilles (France), Casablanca (Morocco) and New York. Strangely enough, he started as a pre-med student taking art classes for fun. In the late eighties, he and his wife moved to the Bay Area were he eventually became president of the San Francisco Society of Illustrators for several years. He has taught Illustration and Business Practices at the Academy of Art College, San Francisco.
Together with his brother, he has produced an illustrated novel entitled "Zintara" (http://www.mbohbot.com/zintara.art.html). Planned as a 9”x11” soft cover with over 30 illustrations, it is currently being shown to publishers.
