Aaron Habibipour
Aaron Habibipour worked in Graphic Design and Web development for many years, designing front end interfaces and print collateral. He started his education at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA as a film major and attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh for 3-D Design. His passion for art led him back to his roots, and in 2001, he pursued a career as a freelance illustrator. This eventually led him to video games where he worked as a storyboard and concept artist on a variety of projects. During his time with Sammy Studios, now called HighMoon Studios, his credits included Art Director and Associate producer for Iron Phoenix, which had him stationed in China for three months working with developer Interserv. After Iron Phoenix, Aaron moved onto the Darkwatch team, working as Art Producer, managing the concept team, in game cinematics, marketing, web assets, the Heavy Metal graphic novel, and the Art of Darkwatch book. He served in many capacities on those pieces, as writer, producer, Artist and editor. In 2005, Aaron and the team he managed garnered the "Best of 3D Award" from Aphrodisia for the July 2006 cover of Heavy Metal Magazine.
Aaron works in many different mediums, from inks and pencils to acrylics and oils. Recently, a blend of traditional and digital media has become the standard. Since Darkwatch, Aaron has moved to Neversoft Entertainment, where he produced Art, Cinematics and Voice over for the recently released "Gun." He also continues his career on the side as a freelance illustrator.
