Lipták László

Artwork Lipták László started working in 1993. His first illustrations appeared in role-playing magazines.

In 1995, he started working on card games. Lipták became the graphic artist and developer of the "Myth” CCG (Hungarian development) with more than 60 "pictures. After that, the "Cards of Power" CCG, containing more than 100 illustrations of his, was published in a couple of European countries. He also took part in the development of another two CCGs ("MAGUS" CCG with over 50 graphics, and "Chaos Galactic", a CCG version of a PBEM) as the lead graphic designer.

Since 1993, Lipták has created graphics and illustrations for 5 role-playing magazines, 4 PBEM’s and 5 CCG’s. He has been part of the graphic design of 3 role-playing games.

Since 1997, he has worked as a freelancer for several graphics projects and web design studios. László has made corporate logos, advertisements, and CD covers.

Between 2000 and 2002, Lipták worked for the CRPG company of Andrew Vajna as concept artist. After a year he became the art director of the company.

Currently, Lipták László works for a publishing house, where he creates illustrations and book covers.

Lipták's style is very design-based, with influences of art nouveau, Celtic and gothic art, self-made ornamental styles, icon-like elements, and everything that has a little unique taste.
